Penn’s new International® 70 Big Game Special delivers big-time fish fighting power in a compact, lightweight reel. The most advanced two speed International® ever, the 70 is destined to become an instant favorite of stand-up anglers and big game fishermen around the globe. With a new, more versatile lever drag and Penn’s exclusive Bio-Drive™ Retrieve System, this new reel cranks easier, even under the heavy pressure of a big fish. The 70 is the result of Penn’s 60 years of experience building reels for saltwater big game fishing.

• New size bridges the gap between the 50 and 80, providing serious big-game power with lighter weight and improved balance.

• New Bio-Drive™ Retrieve System combines ergonomic design, a new one touch, push button shifting system, Penn’s powerful double disc HT100® drag and a newly-designed handle, all developed to make the angler one with the reel.

• New generation Rotary Tuned™ lever drag with an extra long 150-degree quadrant for full free spool, a new “strip drag” position for dropping back baits, chunking or live bait fishing, and an expanded striking and fish-fighting zone to match any condition or big game adversary.

• New contoured one piece machined aluminum frame, gold anodized for good looks and corrosion resistance, housing four stainless steel ball bearings and machined stainless steel main gears, pinion gears and drag cams.

• New one piece anodized aluminum rod clamp features an offset ring for easy attachment of a safety halyard.
